Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe / Kampala
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your Kavala Africa Safaris guide.
Transfer to your hotel in Kampala for overnight stay.
Depending on arrival time, enjoy a city tour or relax.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early breakfast and depart for Bwindi via scenic countryside, passing through Mbarara and Kabale.
Optional stop at the Equator line for photos.
Arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check in at your lodge.

Day 3: Optional Community Visit & Orientation
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day with an optional Batwa community visit to learn about local culture and traditions.
Attend a gorilla trekking briefing by UWA rangers to prepare for your trek.
Afternoon at leisure to rest before trekking.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Trek into the forest with experienced guides to locate a gorilla family.
Spend one hour observing and photographing these magnificent primates.
Return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 5: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Nature Walk
After breakfast, choose to:
Go for a second gorilla trek with a different gorilla family (permit required), or
Take a guided forest nature walk to see birds, butterflies, and other wildlife.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Optional Game Drive)
Drive southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains, spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, and antelopes.
