Experience an exclusive and unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants of the forest on this 3-Day Gorilla Habituation Experience. Unlike regular gorilla trekking, this unique adventure allows you to spend up to four hours with a gorilla family under habituation — a process where wild gorillas are gradually accustomed to human presence.
The tour takes you on a scenic road trip through Uganda’s lush countryside to the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the highest concentration of mountain gorillas.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport.
Begin the scenic 8–9-hour drive to southwestern Uganda, passing through beautiful rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages.
Stop at the Equator Line for photo opportunities and brief exploration.
Continue through Mbarara and Kabale towns with a stop for lunch.
Arrive at Rushaga or Nkuringo sector (southern Bwindi) in the evening.
Check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi
Have an early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from UWA (Uganda Wildlife Authority) rangers.
Begin your trek into the dense forest with a team of researchers and guides.
Spend up to four incredible hours observing a gorilla family undergoing habituation — watch them feed, play, and interact while learning about their behavior and conservation.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the forest and later return to your lodge for relaxation or an optional evening community visit (Batwa cultural experience or local crafts tour).
Accommodation: Same lodge as Day 1

Day 3: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, start your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
Enjoy scenic stops along the way, with lunch en route in Mbarara.
Arrive in the evening and drop off at your hotel or airport for your onward flight.
