🗓 Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel or Entebbe Airport.
Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, driving through picturesque villages, lush banana plantations, and rolling hills.
Stop at the Equator line for photo opportunities and a short coffee break.
Continue through Mbarara and enjoy lunch en route.
Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge.
Optional evening game drive (time permitting).

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Rise early for a morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains — spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and, if lucky, leopards.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes Edward and George. The cruise offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and a spectacular variety of birdlife.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, drive south through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a short game drive to look out for these unique predators resting in fig trees.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, driving through the scenic highlands of Kigezi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.”
Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the gorilla trek.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Return to your lodge for relaxation, or take an optional Batwa cultural visit to experience local traditions.
